Body Buddies is AFFORDABLE group training and it works like an aerobics schedule. It's user friendly - with approximately 20 hours at your disposal. You can choose to work out 2, 3 or 4 days a week OR just drop in on any day you might need extra motivation. The cost varies with the number of days you wish to commit to. One private session is required for assessment and is free when you sign up for at least one month of Body Buddies.

Body Buddies was created as a means of offering a workout program that would make the commitment to fitness more affordable, as well as fun, by providing a "buddy" system - we also provide the buddy. The focus is on teaching a safe and effective workout program that is constantly changing, thereby eliminating boredom and the plateau effect often encountered when working out alone; it is a program that emphasizes client responsibility and an understanding of how to use the weight room efficiently; it is a program that has proven itself to work time and again as witnessed by the many Body Buddies, past and present, who have committed to fitness by...

"I was extremely overweight most of my adolescent and early adult years (I weighed more than 210 lbs 2 years after my children were born - I'm not proud of it but I am proud of the fact that I lost 65 pounds, and 5 dress sizes and have maintained my weight for almost 30 years by exercising and by learning to replace unhealthy food choices).
Because of my weight problems, I understand the 'difficulties' in achieving the results we all want. Having achieved 'my goal' through the combination of weight training - cardio training, Yoga & nutrition, I was compelled to find a way to help others. I have had great success with the 'group' concept - both in aerobics classes and in 'weight training' and I find it to be a very rewarding way to promote & enjo a 'healthy life style'.

On a more personal note, I am married to a wonderful man who practices law by day and comedy by night (he really is a stand-up comedian in Scottsdale!). Together we have a blended family of three boys. Bob's son is working in Colorado - my boys are both married and have blessed us with five delightful grandchildren - all of whom challenge us to stay fit and healthy. My husband plays tennis, practices Yoga & lifts weights with me. It brings us great pleasure to be able to run around and play with our grandkids - and we can, thanks to a lifestyle of health & fitness!"

WHY GROUP TRAINING?
What stops most of us from trying out "group personal training?" Quite often it is simply an intimidation factor - not knowing what to expect, not sure how to do the exercises properly. An initial assessment will help us better determine if groups are best for you. Maybe a few private sessions will help you be more prepared for the group situation. We have added a day where beginners can feel comfortable. The groups are smaller.

The main issue, as I see it for beginning classes, is that everyone is already at a different level and will most probably progress at different rates. AND - many times people have different reasons for training. So how do we acknowledge ALL these factors in a GROUP situation. Like ever;ything else in life - it simply takes great communication between the trainer and trainee and it takes practice on everyone's part. Many times, other members in the group help you with commitment more than the trainer does. You develop a desire to be around people who have chosen a 'healthy' lifestyle - you start to feel better. Enough said? It all works - simply let us know what you need. Please join us - Groups are user friendly - many more hours are available to you when you have a busy life. There's a LOT to benefit from GROUP camaraderie - the workouts are exciting, fun and can help you maintain your commitment to a healthy lifestyle at an affordable price.

Sunday REST!    

Note: For the 2 hour time slots, you only work out for 1 hour but you can come anytime during those 2 hours as long as you have 45 min to work.

Private or Semi-Private Training is available upon request.  Your goals determine the direction of the private programs.  Costs vary with your commitment.
