La Camarilla boasts a heated 25 meter 6 lane outdoor swimming pool open year round. 

La Camarilla is host to LORI'S SWIM SCHOOL with swim instruction held throughout the year.

La Camarilla and Lori's Swim School sponsor our junior swim team "The Crocodiles".

"Swim safe for a lifetime of fun" is Lori's motto. She offers lessons for children and adults, with group and private lessons available. Lori's Swim School is a member in good standing with the National Swim School Association.  All instructors employed by Lori's Swim School are certified in WSI - Water Safety Instructor, Life guarding, CPR and First Aid.

* THIS IS CHARGED ON YOUR FIRST MONTH EVEN IF YOU ARE ONLY COMMITTING TO 1 MONTH. THE FEE COVERS THE WHOLE YEAR IF YOU COME BACK ANY TIME WITHIN THE YEAR.
Note: Each swimmer is assigned a practice time and MAY NOT switch between practice times.

*The intial month of swim team may be higher to include a kickboard, swim fins, goggles and team suit which are required.

Class Types
Group - maximum of 4 children per instructor
Semi-private - 2 children per instructor
Private - one child per instructor
Parent/Child - maximum 8 pairs per instructor

Class Days and Times
We hold swim lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Class times are from 9:00am until 7:00pm Monday thru Thursday.
Swim team practices are held Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 3:30pm and 7:00pm.

Levels
Diaper Ducks Ages 6 months - 24 months
This is a water introduction class that helps your child develop a foundation of swimming skills that last for life. Some of the activities parent and child will work on are bubble blowing, submersions, back floats etc. Let us help you enjoy your little one in the water.

Seahorse
This class is for the child with minimal water experience or who may still be nervous in the water. We start to learn the basic skills at this level.

Turtle
This class is for the child who has previous water experience. The child must be comfortable in the water and able to go under water without hesitation. We will work on arm strokes, rolling over, big kicks and back floating.

Goldfish
This class is for the child who has some independence in the water. We use fins at this level to work on arm strokes and breaths. We introduce breaststroke at this level.

Seal
This class is for the child who can swim the width of the pool and who is independent on their backs. We will continue to work on freestyle and introduce side breathing as well as backstroke.

Frog
This class is for the child who does freestyle with side breathing. We continue to fine tune stroke techniques and continue to focus on backstroke and breaststroke. We introduce shallow knee dives at this level.

Whale
At this level, we introduce butterfly, surface dives, and treading water. The child must have a good grasp of the other strokes. We work on endurance and coordination of all strokes.

Recreational Swim
Ages: 3-18 years
Must be very comfortable in the water 
Fairly good grasp of freestyle
Work on endurance
Coordination of all strokes

Payment is required at the time of registration.
There is an annual registration fee of $12.00 per family.
There is a $50.00 cancellation fee to cancel any session. We DO NOT offer make up classes for missed lessons.
If we cancel a class due to bad weather that class will be made up on a Friday. No exceptions.
