La Camarilla's Wellness and Weight Loss Program


Healthy Habits for Wellness is La Camarilla’s weight-loss and life-style recipe for long-term optimal health. Our goal is to provide guidance on nutrition and physical activity needed to help you achieve your goals for:


    Weight loss
    Living a more balanced life
    Reducing health risks such as, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and other illnesses that may be associated with being overweight.


    Healthy Habits for Wellness coach, Chris Murphy, NASM - CPT has specialized in Weight Management solutions. With her knowledge of weight management, she will provide the necessary tools and effective strategies for integrating the three major components of successful weight loss:
    - Healthy eating choices
    - Consistent and effective exercise
    - A positive and optimistic attitude!


    - Healthy Habits for Wellness features include:
    Weekly group meetings at various times to meet your busy schedule. These sessions will be used for discussion on nutritional information, setting your personal goals and regular review of your progress, sharing of habits that work (or don’t work) and much more.
    A ‘help’ line (on email) for you to contact Chris or the trainers to ask questions that you may have. (You must be enrolled in the program to use this feature).
    Guidance on realistic goal setting and planning to inspire a lifelong commitment to healthy eating habits and lifestyle change.
    A weight loss strategy that will break the cycle of dieting and result in long-term success. The focus is entirely on a well-balanced plan that meets your personal goal - no FAD Diet.
    Special presentations on the various aspects of cardiovascular conditioning, weight training, flexibility, and a wide variety of exercise programs available at La Camarilla.
    Specific goals program which includes a variety of proven techniques that will help you prioritize your time and manage stress.
    Regular tracking of your progress and reviews against your goals. This will include progress of weight lost, physical activity and guidance on how to adapt your plan as needed.
    Selection of food choices for diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension management. Also, eating healthier to reduce the risk of other diseases such as, osteopenia/osteoporosis, cancer and other chronic conditions.


    Program Length & Costs
    Classes will be added based on demand and Personal appointment times are available.

    The Sessions are 4 Weeks in length.

    PRIVATE/INDIVIDUAL RATE:
    $25 per week ($100 per month)

    SEMI-PRIVATE RATE:
    $37.50 per week. ($18.75 per person per week, $75 per person per month)

    FAMILY/GROUP RATE:
    $45.00 per week. Minimum of 3 required. 
    [For example, based on a 3 person group: $15.00 per person per week, $60 per person, per month]


    You may even be skinny but you could be 'fat"!!
    It's not your total weight but the characteristics of that weight that matters most, i.e. how much is fat and where it is deposited.
